Hi, I'm April Quan. It's taken me a long time to get here, here being a Neufeld course facilitator and parent consultant. My journey has taken me through working in theatre, building a solar house in the country, having a stained glass business, doing home renovations (mine and others), getting married, going back to school, becoming an inner city supply teacher, a parent, a Waldorf parent, a Waldorf handwork teacher, faculty chair, and facilitator, all in that order, except for the home renovations which never seem to end. My sons are 37 and 31 and terrific. I feel like I have come home to Dr. Neufeld's work.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and a Bachelor of
Education, and am a member of the Ontario College of Teachers. I am also a grief recovery specialist with the Grief Recovery Institute.
I began my studies with the Neufeld Institute in 2008 and am always still learning. I am one of only two authorized Neufeld course facilitators and Neufeld parent consultants in the greater Toronto area. I have sponsored five presentations by Dr. Neufeld in Toronto
I
am currently (2025) taking a break from running courses and most consulting work in order to look after my granddaughter until she is ready for school.
